Master the Daily Challenge
One puzzle a day, the same code for everyone. Here's how to solve it cleanly and keep your streak alive.
How it works
- Every Daily Challenge is a 4-digit code with 7 clues, the same size as the Hard level.
- Every player gets the same secret code that day. The clues can be worded or ordered differently for you and a friend, but the answer is the same.
- You can play it once a day. Already played? Spend 120 points to retry.
Streaks
Play on consecutive days and your streak grows. Miss a day and it resets to 1. Milestones at 5, 10, 30 and 100 days unlock achievements worth up to 400 points.
A 60-second routine
- Find “Nothing is correct” and mentally cross out its four digits.
- Read the “well placed” clue. With the crossed-out digits gone, it often points straight to one locked position.
- Use the “two wrong spot” clues to find the remaining digits. Expect one of them to knock out an extra digit.
- Place the digits with a small “not here” list for each one.
- Check against all 7 clues, then submit.

Achievements to aim for
Daily Devotion
Complete the Daily Challenge 7 times
Ritual
Complete the Daily Challenge 30 times
Only your first completion each day counts toward these. A retry bought with points still counts as a win.
Play it with friends
Because the code is shared, the Daily Challenge works like a tiny club. Solve it on your own, then compare: who needed fewer guesses, who was faster, and which clue each of you read first. Just don't spoil the answer before everyone has played!
Put it into practice
Crack the Code is free on iOS and Android. A new Daily Challenge waits every day.
